Spoiler Alert: έφτιαξα κάτι για να μπορώ να μιλάω speech to text και να μου γράφει αξιόπηστα ελληνικά. Θα σας πεθάνω από Δευτέρα (@vensires τρεμε τωρα). Μέχρι τώρα πολλέ φορές δεν γκρινάζα για τη βαριόμουν να γράψω, αλλά τώρα που θα μπορώ να τα λέω, την πατήσατε!!!! Πέρα από την πλάκα, αν κάποιον τον ενδιαφέρει, το έκανα για να γράφω πολύ πιο γρήγορα με 160-180 λεξεις, το λεπτό στους agents που μιλάω για να κάνω διάφορες δουλειές. Το μοντελο τρεχει ΤΟΠΙΚΑ ΔΕΝ στελνει τιποτα εξω. (οχι οτι δεν δινουμε ολα τα αλαλ εξω αλλα λεμε τωρα). Το handy (το πλθγιν που κανει τι δουλεια το mic/copy paste κλπ δειτε παρακατω) Τρεχει σε windows/mac/linux Γραφει καλα και ελληνικα, Στα Αγγλικα ομως εχω WER σχεδον 0% το μοντελο ειναι τοπικο τρεχει πολυ γρηγορα και σε απλη cpu, The rest I will say in English because I'm bored in correcting the Greek, it has some problems in the final (τελικο) s but in English it's perfect. And it's very fast. It's very gentle with the CPU. You can build your own combination of keys. Talk and release or just talk and then release. I also changed the code so it automatically sends enter, with a specific combination of keys. And in general, it's very good. It's a model coming from NVIDIA directly. And there is also a re-trained Greek varianlt of the model, and because it's open weight, totally open. And there you can correct the S. But it was trained with Cypriot Greek, so I don't think it will be so good in pure Greek. But in general we can easily, retrain it with Greek. BTW Its multi language, auto detecting the language and it's only ~480mb. The model is called parakeet v3 I have tested many models, for a another app i build for listening phone calls and creating tickets etc so WER was very important, as it had to work with Greek (there i use whisper -re-trained for Greek- and Gemini 2.5 with a 2-3% WER mostly erros in αρθρα and plurals). As I said, if anyone wants more details feel free to DM me or write in the thread. I will gladly hand over any knowledge I got from this and the workflow. But to be honest, it really skyrockets my ability and speed to pass instructions to the agents because it goes from 40-60 words per minute up to 160-180 wps, and it also works with GPU. So in my case, because I have a GPU in my laptop, it uses the GPU and in case it cannot use a GPU it falls back to CPU. In GPU you're talking about whole phrases in milliseconds. in cpu very big phrases 1-2 seconds. Its worth trying! The program used to interact with my environment, (I'm using Linux), is called Handy. You can parameterize it, you can make it copy paste right away the text or just keep it in keyboard and then you can paste it or paste it and it right away sends also an enter. You can do whatever you want actually.

Ακόμη δεν έπαιξε. Μόνο με απόλυτη σιωπή γύρω γύρω μπορεί να κάνει σωστό tts. Ούτε και στα Αγγλικά κι εκεί το ίδιο κάνει. Ubuntu 26.04

Χτες βγήκε το anoma.ly/hex που κάνει το ίδιο ακριβώς και έπειξε πολύ πιο εύκολα. Μάλιστα βλέπει και τα tts LLM που έχεις ήδη τοπικά.
