, is it fair to say that if the batch version is just a list comprehension, it is not worth it and should just stick with

daft.func

?

yes that is spot on. For simple list comprehensions, the scalar

daft.func

is the way to go.

I've not seen too many use cases for daft.func.batch in my scripts. Usually I'm using a daft.method.batch for batch inference.
