Hi Team, I have some issues with the Tableau ingestion. Limiting the extraction to only a couple of (top-level) projects results in 0 assets being ingested. I can extract everything (which is way to much and not wanted) using `projects: null`in the recipe, though. I guess it has something to do with our nested projects structure. I tried using wild cards, like
Copy code
projects:
            - 'Common Analytics Domain/.*'
to no avail. Any idea how to narrow the ingestion down to selected top level projects? Thanks!

There should be no need for wildcards. Simply list the name of your top level projects, e.g.:
projects:
            - 'Common Analytics Domain'
At least, that's how we use it 🙂 Does it work for your setup as well?

Unfortunately, it does not work that way here. Do you have workbooks, data sources etc directly as children in your listed project? Because here, we use project hierarchies and workbooks will only be found at the leaves of the project structure, like this: Common Analytics Domain/UAT/Test123/workbook1 So I could add 'Test123' to the list of projects to scan and it would work, but that's also not what I want, because there can be multiple such project folders in different top-level projects.

Yes, we have our workbooks directly in the project folders and do not have further hierarchy levels I see, I'm afraid that the Tableau source because it is not really mature yet but I can't tell you for sure
Does it work when you provide the full path for every leave directory? I know that this would be quite cumbersome, just asking out of interest
r
No, I wouldn't know how to provide that full path name. Doesn't work. Do you know if somebody is still working on the Tableau plugin, making it more mature? The way it currently is, we cannot really use it.
c
No, I don't know We also have some pain points with the Tableau source, but I don't know when and if we'll find the time to work on improving
