I am finding contributing to Datahub to be very frustrating. I am unable to build it on my local machine and can’t seem to get any help building it despite reaching out to the community. This pours cold water over my excitement at using Datahub

@elegant-state-4 how did you install python on your mac? This issue seems to be some be with your python setup as
python.h
should be on your machine after proper python install and it should be on your path. The build fails on standard python package installation when it tries to build the package.
Are you on m1 mac right?

I used pyenv to install Python.
My colleague had the same issue building on his Mac

Do you have xcode tools installed?
$ xcode-select --install

The only update available for me is to upgrade to Ventura from Monterey which I don't think has anything to do with this
