Is there any way to trace changes made within DataHub, for example wich user added a Glossary Term, or edited Documentation, etc?
b
Not in the main UI. You can only view in MySQL or the timeline endpoint in the OpenAPI page
Though, there are some areas at the moment which do not have the identity of the user logged, for instance, if you edit the dataset description, which is probably more of a oops than a design flaw.

reference to timeline API that xL is referring to: https://datahubproject.io/docs/dev-guides/timeline/

@better-orange-49102 thank you! That's kinda weird, in my understanding it's rather important to know which users changed what since users might make mess sometimes :) @loud-island-88694 thank you too! I see on the page the UI timeline vizualisation is planned for future work, do you know if it's in the Roadmap already or is it abstract plans?

I fully agree that audit trails are pretty important. :) Would be very helpful if we have an audit panel for each asset instead of making users use the timeline API

I think Audit trail can be make or break point for many teams while adopting Datahub. I am surprised Datahub doesn't have this
