hello, I am having this issue on datahub v0.8.36. I can see in the main screen that there are 8 glossary terms, but when I click, I can't see any. And the number of glossary terms is not changing when I am adding a new glossary term via the UI. Any ideas?
o
Hi! Are you getting any errors in the UI logs here? Also try checking the network logs to see if there are any graphql queries that are failing to complete.
a
i checked the frontend and gms logs, there is nothing there
o
🤔 Interesting, did the network logs have anything? If you're in Chrome you can hit OPTION + CMD + I to open up the dev tools to inspect network requests and see what's coming back in the graphql queries.
a
that makes sense
i clicked in one, while trying to fetch the glossary terms

This is probably an issue of restoring your indices. I would try https://datahubproject.io/docs/how/restore-indices/
in a slightly more recent version of datahub we introduced an upgrade step that does this automatically for you but in 0.8.36 you're going to have to execute the restore indices command yourself
a
that sounds very sensible, thanks. I'll try it
b
let us know if it works!

@agreeable-belgium-70840 If you upgrade to the latest version of DataHub things should just start to work (as Chris mentioned) (v0.8.39) - Would highly recommend that as the shortest path!
a
okey got it, thanks
