Hi all, we have datasets and schemas that contain data from multiple domains (e.g. finance, customer, marketing etc) - given that DataHub only allows one domain per schema I’m interested in how DataHub and other users suggest tackling this, to provide data owners and stewards the best experience and information. My current thinking is to broaden the domains to an even higher level and rely more heavily on Glossary and Tags but is that the best way or do others have a better suggestion? blob help cc @mammoth-bear-12532

That sounds like it would be the best approach to me, any thoughts @microscopic-australia-66302?

Back in Sep, John mentioned that the team is leaning towards supporting multiple domains per entity. I haven't verified if any PR has removed the limitation in UI, but has the thinking changed?
a
Nothing has happened here yet- it’s on the table for discussion. We support it in the model but not currently in the UI.

Hey Paul, does that mean this is currently working from a backend perspective — i.e. if I try to add multiple domains via API will they all work for, e.g. policies?
a
that should be the case!

Awesome!
a
let us know if it doesn’t work- otherwise it’s likely a feature request

Will give it a shot, thanks!
