@mammoth-bear-12532 Hey Shirshanka, so we've been trying to use AWS MSK with IAM auth and we've run into some issues. The Schema Registry prerequisites uses the confluent platform docker image, which doesn't have the MSK IAM auth JAR file. Additionally, the Kafka setup job also does not have the jar file either. I wanted to ask: • Would it make sense to add the JAR file to the Kafka setup job image? If so, I can make that change. • When can it be expected that schema registry will be removed from the project? Hi @brave-zebra-97479! Thanks so much for raising this one - we haven’t been able to prioritize this work just yet; I’m working with the Core Team to get more transparency into how we can move #5232 forward, as well as address the two PRs you opened recently (#6439 & #6435) CC: @brainy-tent-14503

Those last two PRs look fine to me, I don’t have access approve them yet. Will work to get access and follow through.
