@little-megabyte-1074 is this functionality of setting a default role for new users available? I see it marked as a 'prior initiative' on the roadmap but didn't see it in the docs or an obvious way to do it in the UI https://feature-requests.datahubproject.io/roadmap/743

Hi @chilly-truck-63841! You can set default roles when you generate an invite link through the UI; we don’t currently support default roles for users added via SSO. In the UI, navigate to Settings > Users & Groups > Invite Users

ahh ok thanks for showing this option - we're using Okta so were looking for a default for anyone who logs in. Are there plans to support it for SSO? fyi @freezing-analyst-74564 @bumpy-manchester-97826

Hey @chilly-truck-63841 for now we’re only planning to support this on Managed DataHub, perhaps in the next few months or so
