Hi team! There is an entry in the historical roadmap 2021 Q4 about
Knowledge Posts
but I have not found any further info. Should it be added to the feature requests? Does anybody have an initial approach on this? I would be interested specifically on knowledge-repo

Hi @acoustic-quill-54426! The historical roadmap has a link out to the associated feature request (including a typo, whoopsie🤦🏼‍♀️)! Would you mind adding your use cases & details in the post about Knowledge Posts/Airbnb’s knowledge repo? We’re eager for more feedback from the community so we can get this one right!

Hey @little-megabyte-1074 thanks for the quick reply! I think I might have misunderstood "Knowledge posts" with the feature to post a comment in an entity, as in having a comment section. What I understood was that there is a plan to ingest "knowledge posts" refering to airbnb or kyso.io posts, which is some sort of hub for jupyter notebooks
For context: data-scientists at my company have been using a KR for years, but also non-technical users want to share experiments and whatever, usually google docs or slides. So having all that indexed in the same place seems logic

I think KR & kyso are definitely up for consideration in addition to Google docs/Google drive! We haven’t fully scoped out the work, so I definitely encourage you to add details/use cases in the feature request 🙂

Will do! I just wonder if this should be a different feature request? Sorry if I did not make myself clear 😅
the way I see it is that having the possibility to add comments to any entity is a different feature (they are actually two different checkboxes ) than ingesting metadata from knowledge posts. does that make sense to you?

Ah, I see what you’re saying! Adding a new feature request sounds like the right move teamwork
thank you 1
