Hi All,

I tried typing in the search bar but there is no autocomplete suggestion. I checked on Chrome dev tool, there were no network call at all when I type. Is that autocomplete search disabled by default or is there anyway to enable it. I have tried to search the documentation but no lock. Am I missing something?

Hey Taufiq, we are still working out the kinks on the search experience, but right now if you don't have an entity selected from the dropdown on the left of the search bar you won't have any autocomplete available

This is because we are still working out how autocomplete (and other smart search capabilities) should work when there is no entity selected and how to determine the most relevant autocompletion result in such a case

Likely a lot of relevance work would need to be involved, which we are still improving on

No problem, I really appreciate what Datahub team has been working on. Anyway, your suggestion to have entity selected makes the autocomplete works. And for now it's enough for us. Thanks for giving the solution.
