#all-things-deployment I am planning to use Opensearch instead of out of the box Elasticsearch. Currently i see Elastic search APIs are supported by Opensearch but may not be the case in future. I see DataHub is tightly coupled with elasticsearch API (especially RestHighLevelClient). Do you have any plan to plug Opensearch service implementation? Or has anyone tried to plug opensearch along with elasticsearch so that we can switch over easily?

I have it running in the latest AWS opensearch version and it seems to be fine, as someone pinned the client to a version that isn't aware of ES vs OS. Though your roadmap question about the apis is very valid. It also would be interesting to know if IAM support is on the roadmap. Using a local user in AWS introduces some sizable nuances.
