If your storage (RDBMS, elastic) are managed instances then data is stored there. You can just update version in helm chart and it should work

That will just update the pods and not affect the data already stored

Hi Aseem Bansal ; I used the AWS deployment guide as it's a POC ; so all persistent data is stored inside the EKS. Do I need to back it up? before I do the upgrade?
