Hi @shy-parrot-64120, yes, you need Java installed, as this source uses certain Java specific libraries.

@shy-parrot-64120 @hundreds-photographer-13496 I just started getting this error after upgrading to 0.11.0. Are you saying that in addition to having the datahub image on the box and running

datahub ingest

i need to install Java on the box as well? I am running my ingestions inside kubernetes pods with this image FROM

acryldata/datahub-ingestion:v0.11.0.2

Hey @numerous-address-22061 looks like that there is a gap in doc that it doesn't mentioned requirement of java installation. I think, the image should have had java installed. @orange-night-91387 can you please confirm if above image has java installed ?

The actions image does, but the datahub-ingestion one does not.

So in order to run an ingestion for Kafka Connect we need to also install Java ? @orange-night-91387 Can we get that get added here, for clarity to future users.
