Depends on how many datasets you have inside the prod environment, as you need to update the browsepath aspect for each dataset. Ingestion doesn't overwrite browsepath once it is set. However, your dataset is still considered a "prod" dataset and so it is filterable by environment "prod". Hence it is a cosmetic change only.
