Now that it seems like the browsepath are here to stay, i hope that containers are represented in the browsing landscape and not to only show up in "search mode". It is kind of weird to have datasets in browse but not its associated containers.

yeah that's a fair point. just curious, what would your ideal browse experience look like? we've heard multiple things on this topic, and we know our current browse experience could use some work, so any feedback would be much appreciated (also apologies if you've already posted about this as I know we've asked about this specifically in the past with polls and what not)

hmm i was thinking simplistically like a listing of top level containers (ie those containers without a parent container associated). let the nested containers be shown (in its normal container page) only if they click on any of the top level containers. that way the browsing is container-centric.
