Hey team! I have upgraded datahub images to 0.8.45 then getting snowflake views in Upper case previously showing all the snowflake entities in lower case.Is this expected in latest release? Due to this i am not getting the lineage properly.

@limited-forest-73733 the casing is meant to reflect how snowflake shows the tables in its app ecosystem. The urn of the table / view has not been changed, so you shouldn’t be seeing any issues with lineage.

But if i am using 0.841 of database images the. It’s coming in lower case. Why so?

Its not impacting the urn but it’s impacting the views and curreted tables
I have same snowflake table while running recipe for 0.8.41 and for 0.8.45. But casing has been changed and snowflake tables are coming in upper case thats why lineage has been impacted

Hi @limited-forest-73733 could you please check once if urn is exactly same for both the versions. As far as I understand, the different case is only for display name and not for URN. Hence should not affect the lineage, which is driven by URN.
There was an issue with missing table->view lineage in 0.8.45, which has been fixed in 0.8.45.1. Is it possible for you to run ingestion with 0.8.45.1 and confirm if everything is working for you as expected?

@hundreds-photographer-13496 I upgraded datahub-ingestion image to 0.8.45.1 now getting snowflake views and currated table properly but issue with dbt lineage , its not showing snapshots, seeds and incremental

Hey @limited-forest-73733 do you think dbt lineage issue is related to snowflake ingestion ? If not, shall we create a separate thread for that one please ?

Yeah but the prom is with lineage only
