Hello guys, The idea of

snowflake-beta

is of gathering feature both from

snowflake

and

snowflake-usage

? If I use the two combined is the same of using the

-beta

one ? I am asking because since the last one is in "beta" version, I am not so sure if I will implement it already on the company. Thanks !

Beta will eventually replace the old Snowflake connector as it does is a improved version of the old connector. It has features like: • usage and ingestion merged into one source • Optimized ingestion, usage implementation • Etc..

@dazzling-judge-80093 Since we are using Datahub in our company, what would you say it's better: Use

snowflake

with

snowflake-usage

while

snowflake-beta

isn't concluded, or simply use

snowflake-beta

directly? Which approach will be the most easy to update after ? Since we are also dealing with client access to our Datahub server, I want to be sure of the best updating strategy in the future. 🙂

snowflake-beta

will be renamed to snowflake in the next release - you can set up with snowflake-beta for now. When the release goes out, we’ll start printing out a warning that you need to rename from snowflake-beta back to snowflake
