How to add a property to a table?

Today you have to use the ingestion framework to add dataset properties. 🙄Well I cannot ask a user to write a transformer…They have to use the UI like tags/owner/terms, etc… each table has different props…

I understand. I think the team is working to enable dataset properties management within UI, but I'm not shure. Can you share your use case for dataset properties?

For example if a table is partitioned by date and has retention of X partitions so I want to add a property

I see. I think this kind of metadata should be ingested by the integration. For example, the BigQuery source creates tags for partitioning fields. But I agree with the possibility of registering these values within UI.
