Hello team! Not sure this is the right channel to ask this question but here goes. We’re setting up Datahub and one of the hurdles we’re running into is that all datasets are visible to everyone. Using the policies I’m able to restrict access to specific domains for eg., but containers are still visible and one when a user drills down to the dataset properties level gets an error message that they are not authorised. Is there a way in which I can make datasets and containers they sit in invisible in the UI for some users?

+1 but nope, the current view ACL doesn't hide datasets from browse nor search.

Hi @acoustic-winter-85299! xL is correct - it’s not currently possible, but there’s good news! One of our Q3 roadmap items is to support complex search & filtering, which will include the idea of “saved filters” and “default filters” which will make it much easier to hide content from end users https://feature-requests.datahubproject.io/roadmap/943

Pardon me for adding on, but using selected filters might not be the view ACL that people need, if
1. there is no way to selectively apply it to different groups of people,
2. and ensuring that they can't bypass the filter somehow (view ACL should not be bypassable)
