Hey everyone. Can anyone help me, what the Properties tab in Glossaries is supposed to contain? In all the demos I've seen it was empty.

hey Nadia! The properties tab is a space where you can put custom key-value properties related to that Glossary Term. It's essentially a spot for more documentation on the term but in a different format. Right now you can only fill out that tab through yaml ingestion, but we want to be able to give you the ability to fill it out through the UI as well!

Yeah correct only way to get stuff in is via the ingestion APIs ( not super useful for UI based glossary though )

just note that searching for custom properties is quite tricky (compared to keyword searches on description fields)

@better-orange-49102 is the any documentation describing how to search for them, and/or other details about custom properties?

https://datahubproject.io/docs/how/search refer to the customProperties search syntax, it works for datasets. Not tested for glossary terms, though

@big-carpet-38439 has there been any more work done on adding the Glossary properties via UI ? Our end users have started asking questions about it.
