02/16/2024, 8:11 PMThanks for your attention in advance!
In Values there is the following section:
# # Request smaller persistent volumes.
volumeClaimTemplate:
accessModes: ["ReadWriteOnce"]
storageClassName: "standard"
resources:
requests:
storage: 100M
Do I need to mention my PV or PVC (existingClaim). This is the only prerequisites section that mentions any persistence
Where do I mention this in the excerpt I copied above?
I've been evaluating and trying to upload my Kubernetes on-prem for several weeks, I've read the documentation hundreds of times
What I could conclude is that the chart does not have the ability to mention my on-prem storage. This helm would work well this way in any managed cluster such as EKS, AKS, GKE... Now, the cluster that was configured by hand, without any provisioner linked to the cloud provider, this cluster cannot join the Datahub because the Helm was not prepared to meet this need. If he had prepared for this, there would certainly have been the possibility of pointing my PVC and then it would work. The parameter that I accuse is missing exists in other Helm projects. Even so, I greatly appreciate your attention.
Thank you very much!billions-tailor-78534
02/16/2024, 8:25 PMprerequisites chart is just a parent chart of a few third-party Helm charts. The example you quote here is for the bitnami/elasticsearch helm chart. You can consult its documentation about what PV or PVC values it accepts.
In the default install you do not need to specify any PV or PVC values.
If you are encountering an error, please share/paste here the actual error.
Please make sure you are using the latest version of the charts.
