I'm thinking Tags can be crowdsourced and unregulated. While glossary terms should have definitions and a well thought out taxonomy. Crowdsourced tags could migrate to glossary terms if they appear commonly useful and can have an agreed on common definition. I'm thinking about how one would use an ontology (more complex taxonomy) for glossary terms and then have search capability that can infer related search terms. Has anyone done or thought about something like that? Does DataHub support something like that?
