Hi Team - we are seeing a weird error in our postgressetupjob where the database which is getting referred in the connection string is always
datahub
. Is that something expected or can the database name be tweaked. Error ->
Copy code
INSERT INTO metadata_aspect_v2
SELECT * FROM temp_metadata_aspect_v2
WHERE NOT EXISTS (SELECT * from metadata_aspect_v2);
DROP TABLE temp_metadata_aspect_v2;
psql: error: connection to server at "<http://xxxx.rds.amazonaws.com|xxxx.rds.amazonaws.com>" (10.4.22.160), port 5432 failed: FATAL: database "datahub" does not exist
2023/09/14 23:22:26 Command exited with error: exit status 2
Config->
Copy code
sql:
          datasource:
            host: "xxxx:5432"
            hostForpostgresqlClient: "xxxx"
            port: "5432"
            url: "jdbc:<postgresql://xxxx:5432/datahub_staging>"
            driver: "org.postgresql.Driver"
            username: "datahub_staging"
            password:
               secretRef: postgresql-secrets
               secretKey: postgres-password
✅ 1
we ended up creating the database name and username as datahub and it worked.

Glad you got it working!

The database name for the postgres setup job is specified here in the helm chart values. Additionally the jdbc url would need to reflect your chosen database name here as well.
