Hi, might be a bit of a newbiw question, but I am interested in generating insights from DatHub data. Is there a way to e.g. automatically pull the info how many data sets are tagged with a specific term, how many data assets have lineage or ownership info available and push this into a regular report? Thanks!

That's definitely an exciting question - • We provide our on analytics dashboard in ANALYTICS tab here - https://demo.datahubproject.io/analytics • for your use case, i think it would be useful to 1) query from the datahub database itself (metadata_aspect_v2) 2) or utilize our API & SDKs . Feel free to share the results in the community, this is interesting! cc. @bulky-soccer-26729 would love your input here!

nice yeah that's great! you can definitely get this info for how many datasets are tagged with a specific term or lineage or ownership info using our APIs. the
searchAcrossMultiple
may be your friend where you can use filters to get results that you care about.
do you mind if i ask what you want this report for and what you plan on doing with it?

Hi @bulky-soccer-26729 and @delightful-ram-75848, thanks for sharing your advice. I was planning on using this report to display some stats which are not necessarily part of the regular analytics dashboard (or at least not in this visualization) and use it for governance management to see. So there would be e.g. domain-individual information with governance KPIs. As soon as there is something to share, I will do so. :)
