Hi Team, I have datahub running in kubernates . We have created one user from kubernates and are able to login to datahub with it . But using this user we are not able to add tokens , glossary terms , owners etc . The permissions and policy tab is missing . Error:Failed to add: Unauthorized to perform this action. Please contact your DataHub administrator." any one please help me in resolving this issue

Hi @bitter-evening-61050 Did you assigned that user all permissions? login to DataHub Portal using
datahub
user and set the permissions to newly created user

Hi @gentle-hamburger-31302 In user.props i have changes the credentials to the user i am using and restarted the datahub pod .The user i am using , is throwing errors when i try to add or create . I am not able to see the permissions and policy tab also

Did you modify the policies.json to reflect your new user as well?: https://datahubproject.io/docs/authorization/policies/#managing-policies
Otherwise the policies ingested will refer to the datahub default user. Just removing that user and putting something else there is not enough to change over the policy definitions.

Hi @orange-night-91387, I am not able to find the policy.json file.Can you please help us where we can find the file . We have deployed in kubernates with helm chart . if deployed with helm charts do we need to deploy metadata service seperately or where could we find policies.json file

Similarly to how you have overwritten the user.props, you can also overwrite this file.
