Hi folks! Is there a way to enable user requests through the Datahub UI? I mean, the user doesn't have access to edit the description of a table, but he wants to open a request for the Owners to review it. The idea is to send the request to the Owners to review the description of the entity. Another use case for this feature would be to request the owners to insert the descriptions if they don't exist.

Afaik, there is a approval workflow mechanism in the managed datahub, but not available in opensource.

The Jira integration will be great! I'll check if we could extend it to request changes to the descriptions. The idea would be to provide a way to sent a request to the Entity Owners to complete the descriptions or add any missing information.

hmmm, Jira is a different system, so I'll be curious about how the integration can identify the correct user/owners and pass the information to Jira. @delightful-ram-75848 there would be video sharing after the townhall on the Jira sharing right? I can't stay up to watch live, unfortunately
