Hi there. What resources do you recommend for brand new DataHub users (like me!) who want to learn how to use DataHub to find stuff? Everything I've found at datahubproject.io, the DataHub blog on medium.com, and the DataHubProject channel on YouTube is for people who already know how to use DataHub or for people who are setting up DataHub for others to use. It's discouraging.

Have you searched Slack for similar issues? βœ… button Did you find a solution to your issue? ❌ Sorry you weren't able to find a solution. Thanks. That's interesting. It seems to be for someone who's going to maintain a data catalog rather than someone who wants to search for things in the data catalog. Am I trying to use DataHub the wrong way? Is there something else that works with DataHub to enable me to search all the aggregated information? As a user, I'd like to log into DataHub and search all sources that I'm allowed to. I want to type general terms such as "the location of John Smith on Saturday, May 13, 2023" or "sales of Ommegong beer in Oshkosh, Wisconsin last June". Can I do things like that with DataHub?

Hi, do you have access to a DH instance already? It may be that you haven’t been given the correct permissions by your admin- you should be able to search, but you might want to try a more keyword-based approach than full sentence queries
for natural language search to query the real data, versus metadata. You might want to look into a BI tool or a Notebook for that sort of search

No, I don't have access to a DH instance. I'm trying to evaluate the DH user experience without standing up my own DH. None of the videos that I've watched in the DH YoutTube channel show someone searching with DH the way I want to. I'm starting to understand that DH isn't for that use case.
