Hello, can you elaborate on "Business logic"?

You can do this using the GraphQL apis - though it might be a heavy lift to build a fully featured product experience since we move pretty fast 😅 have you considered contributing the changes you’d like to implement back to the project?

My stakeholders requested significant changes in the interface. I’m not sure that the current functionality allows us to rebuild the look of the existing pages and that you will agree with them too. Just a small example of how my stakeholders see the main page after UX research within the company. We interviewed business users without experience working with the data catalogue. We discovered that they struggle to interact with the tool. That is why I decided to ask if creating the frontend part from scratch is possible. But still, it is not the ideal solution too, I know it. Did you conduct UX/UI research for the interface to understand how potential users see it now?

Hello Valeria, we have plans to explore this area in the future and thoroughly consider the initial experience for all types of users, particularly business users, when they come to DataHub. It's fantastic to hear that you have been conducting your own research to make informed decisions. Currently, we have a significant gap in this particular area, and it's crucial for us to address it. Although I don't have a specific timeline to share with you right now, it would be wonderful to collaborate with you and leverage your findings if you decide to create your own user interface. Additionally, we would love to have you and/or your team involved in interviews and usability testing when we shift our focus towards this aspect.
