cat waveHello, DataHub Community! datahubub I’m very excited to announce that we’re expanding the DataHub DevRel Team with two new US-based, remote-friendly roles that will report directly to me: DataHub Community Manager We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented Community Manager to join the DataHub Developer Relations Team. In this role, you will establish and maintain positive relationships with developers, contributors, and other stakeholders in the open-source DataHub Community. Your focus is to get a deep understanding of goals of community members and get them to success with using DataHub. In this role, you will: • Develop and implement strategies to engage and retain contributors, developers, and sponsors in the open-source community • Build relationships with community members by responding to inquiries, providing feedback, and organizing events • Collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to create and distribute relevant content to the community • Identify and address community issues or concerns, and propose solutions to the management team • Monitor community feedback and proactively seek out opportunities to improve the community experience • Develop and maintain reporting to track and measure community metrics, including engagement, retention, and growth • Establish partnerships with other open-source communities to promote cross-collaboration and drive growth DataHub Developer Advocate As a Developer Advocate, you will build examples to solve real-world challenges and write tutorials that help developers understand and use the DataHub platform. You’ll write and maintain documentation and tutorials to help people understand how DataHub is used and designed. You will also be a liaison to the DataHub community where: • You will help contributors make progress and be successful with DataHub. • You will coordinate community discussions, answer questions, and keep up with issues. • You will help your teammates understand what the community needs and advocate for the community internally. • You will become an expert member of the DataHub community.
