Hello, everyone. I'm struggling with implementing cucumber-preprocessor. Most of the tutorials and videos that are presented in net are outdated and are for the older Cypress versions. For example, it's mentioned that it's necessary to add the following code in cypress.json file. But cypress.json is not presented in most recent versions. I've found that cypress.config.json file is used instead. But when I'm adding this code in cypress.config.json file, I'm getting an error. Could anybody help me with that? { "testFiles": "**/*.feature" }
w
in 10.0 with the move to cypress.config.js instead of cypress.json, the
testFiles
key was updated to
specPattern
, it looks like you have everything in the right place and renaming
testFiles
to
specPattern
could unblock you on this step

@wonderful-match-15836 thank you so much! It detects the feature file now.
Hm, now I'm getting another error 😄 If the "cypress-cucumber-preprocessor": { "nonGlobalStepDefinitions": true }, It can't resolve step definitions. If false "Step implementation missing". What could cause these errors?
w
it is looking for
cypress/integration
but the new name for that is
cypress/e2e
- I wonder if you rename
e2e
to
integration
will that work? I should work with your
**/*.feature
spec pattern so I think it will be ok. I don't use cucumber so kinda guessing here.
☝️ specifically, I mean your
cypress/e2e
directory in the filesystem might need to be named
cypress/integration
to be compatible.
