How to run my single spec with multiple versions of Chrome browser? is possible to have multiple versions of chrome installed so that cypress can run the test suits against either one
t
Your best bet is probably running the tests within cypress docker images: https://docs.cypress.io/examples/docker There are a whole historic bunch you can get it to use with different (older) versions of Chrome: https://github.com/cypress-io/cypress-docker-images/tree/master/browsers I Don't think it's possible to install multiple versions of Chrome locally for test development. It's hard enough (almost impossible) to stop Chrome auto updating unless you control it via a global policy on your own VM infrastructure.
e.g. for gitlab-ci you can specify the image to use like so

hmmm ok tq how about installing multiple versions of chrome and using the path in cypress command npx Cypress run --browser "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe"

You could do this with something like workflows in github action. I would just create my own docker image with the exact version of cypress, chrome, node etc., and then just have a workflow for each version of chrome you want to test.

hmmm thats good idea
