If the test can pass with iteration, there is literally nothing special about them, so why even test it?
But if there was something edge case (and that is what you are mostly interested) you don't want it to be in same iteration.
In a stable app, I often tend to write new smaller tests just for some tiny feature or fixes (always TDD), and that can kinda bloat the amount of tests 😦
