I am using the cucumber plugin to create gherkin sentences that can be reused for several tests. For example

When I create a new product with property "A" and anotherproperty "optionalProperty"

. In that case, the cypress code behind it will perform a

.type(optionalProperty)

which is generic, and can be empty in case we don't want to type in anything to test the scenario. In this case, the user will focus the input field, and not fill in anything 😉
