Hey.. If you are just starting on API testing using Cypress. I would suggest not to deep dive much, just start doing it using request and intercept commands. Your major set of tests will be written using these 2 commands itself. Keep your payloads separate so that if anything changes in the APIs, you are aware and don't get any false failures in your tests..
