it's more than just a little function here or there. In my case it's mostly functions. Those that are repeated in every test, I put in command.js and call them that way. But others I put in different files, depending on the page they are found at (kind of like page object although not completely). Good to hear your opinion since your blog posts helped a lot in the beginning of my cypress journey (not that I am any sort of expert at this moment 🙂 )
