Generally, you should test one thing at a time. If you have multiple components, that sounds like multiple tests to me. Is there any way you can establish your test setup (template) very rapidly so that each test can have the starting point it needs? I would avoid making one test dependent on a prior test. Ideally, any test should be able to run on its own, independent of others.
