Hey! I’m looking for an example of a B2B company that offers a product demo in the form of a video, can be (partially) gated, but still the video should show in-browser, instead of having to ‘book a call’ to get the demo. Any companies come to mind?

hi Jonas, Livestorm does both: • you can request a demo > book a call and get a very detailed and tailored demo • attend the weekly live demos > they are gated you would sign up to them - this would be level 1 demo • watch the ondemand demos - gated and also level 1 demo

I was looking into Livestorm just now!
Where can I find the on-demand ones? 😭

We (SPP.co) have a Getting Started Video on our YouTube channel (

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJ9Tp4zIHjc

) that is 3 minutes long. It’s included in the Calendly description for anyone trying to book a demo call. Our YouTube channel also has demos on how to set up a workspace based on different agency niches. (Our main page also has a short trailer showcasing the product if that counts).

https://apply.surveymonkey.com/ Right in the nav bar, beside Login! Was at the company when we rolled out the "watch a demo" function and can tell you it was a game changer (we actually booked fully deals after they simply watched the demo on their own)!

We do at Ortto: https://ortto.com/watch-demo/ (we also have the option to book a demo)

Once you book a demo with Userlist, the confirmation email also includes a link to prerecorded demo: https://userlist.com/video-demo/ The difference being that the prerecorded one does only a walkthrough of our tool with a more basic introduction. Our demo calls are more like strategy calls, as we get to know more information about the lead and help them get more insight into the processes relevant to them.

Hi @miniature-doctor-55258 I think Invision has done a fantastic job of putting a demo video and multiple how-to videos on its website. They keep playing in the background for all website visitors and provide immediate insight and assistance with their product, thereby increasing conversions. You need to check them out: https://www.invisionapp.com/ I recently wrote a blog on some really impressive product demo videos from B2B companies around the globe. This might really help you: https://www.contentbeta.com/10-impressive-product-demo-videos-youll-want-to-copy/ And if you are looking for a solution- I work at Content Beta, a video-design-audio studio and we’ve helped ManyChat, Leadfeeder and 80 other B2B software companies create engaging product demos and product marketing videos to successfully generate more MQLs and signups. You can check these examples for inspiration: https://www.contentbeta.com/product-demo-video/

Whoops, did not, but here are some success stories/the strategy that’s working best in the current content climate where sales content should rarely be gated. Definitely don’t recommend gating demos without a clear value add element being the center of it. if you’re looking to capture emails, the most effective gated content strategy is value-add content. Webinars, events, fireside chats, etc. TINYpulse and Productboard have seen a lot of success with gated webinars, but we still use ungated social clips to get people interested, Trainual and Goldcast are great examples of companies that are using events as their “gated” content. Ebooks as well. The play is to gate value ad content, get people to trust and spent time with your brand, and then ungate the demo
