Anyone ever done a B2B storytelling workshop in their org? To help enable sales/cs/etc to tell more compelling stories in conversation with customers and prospects? If so, would love recommendations, learnings, etc. Thank you!

I did a few things that might be helpful to you. The best was a one-day "boot camp" where we introduced a new product to the sales team, broke them into groups, and then held a competition to see who could deliver the best pitch.
I'm also a huge fan of "Crystal Knows." I've found it helps sales folks understand how to best speak to any individual prospect.

Yes, me and our head of sales ran a shortish workshop. I gave a quick rundown on our company ‘voice’ and basic good practices of messaging (show don’t tell, stories work better than stats, etc). We split them into groups for 2 tasks: 1. Advertise a feature in 280 characters in company voice. 2. Come up with an analogy to explain the benefits of one of our newest features.

I've given them to my internal teams and provided materials to help them improve their storytelling abilities. I'm working on a more public-facing version of this that I hope to have finished by EOY. In the meantime, my advice is to avoid anything that centers on simplistic formulas and look for resources that teach the basic principles needed to recognize the difference between a good story and a great story.

Hey @adorable-ability-70116, I would love to hear more about how you structure your process. Mind if I drop you a DM?

We tried to work through a StoryBrand exercise. It helped us position the customer as the "hero" and the product as the "guide." I think it's quite useful but not sure how bought in sales were.
