Has anybody got any experience with content syndication - in particular in the B2B / IT / Security space? Thinking the likes of Tech Target, SC Magazine, InfoSec, etc. Would love to get some insights on what folks have tried, whether they achieved a good ROI, tips to get the best out of it, and recommended publications...

we've worked with a few clients in the cybersecurity space who have done content syndication and haven't seen a huge return. from what we've seen, it gets you emails but not much else

It's really hard to make newsletters, various media verticals, etc work for b2b performance. Usually just promoting on FB and LI works better, you can even use earned media in your ads. I think its an issue of scale, the decision makers don't engage with the vertical publications very often while they are on their preferred social media for hours everyday.

If you mean syndicating your content to obtain leads in the cybersecurity space, I have had good luck with Virtual Intelligence Briefing, ISMG, and DemandWorks. Good luck!
