Hi Composio team, I’m receiving this error when trying to execute the Browser Tool: “Execution of toolkit 'BROWSER_TOOL' is temporarily disabled by the administrator.” Could you please confirm whether BROWSER_TOOL is currently disabled on Composio’s side, or whether this is a restriction/configuration specific to my account or environment? If it is account-side, please let me know what setting or permission I need to change. Thanks.

Hi there, I checked this. Browser Tool is not disabled globally. It is currently restricted for your Composio organization by a platform-side execution control, so there is no account setting or permission you can change to re-enable it. Please share a short description of the workflow you are running, along with the expected request volume and concurrency. We can then review the restriction on our side and confirm the appropriate next step.

Thanks for confirming. The Browser Tool is primarily used for interactive DevOps/admin workflows where an authenticated browser session is required, for example: - configuring deployments in Northflank - validating SaaS configuration - authenticated dashboard troubleshooting - occasional end-to-end verification This is not a high-volume scraping workload. Expected Browser Tool usage: - Typical volume: fewer than 20-50 browser tasks per day - Most days: substantially fewer than that - Expected concurrency: normally 1 browser session at a time - Maximum expected concurrency: 2-3 on rare occasions - Workflows are human-supervised and task-oriented rather than bulk crawling/scraping Please review the platform-side restriction on my organization and re-enable BROWSER_TOOL if possible.

Thank you
Hello! I tried to use the browser tool again but it still reports being disabled by administrator

Hi there, we’re sorry we haven’t gotten back to you yet. We’ve received your ticket and know you’re waiting for help. We’re working through more requests than usual, so replies are taking longer than we’d like. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can. In the meantime, you may find answers in our [docs](https://docs.composio.dev) or, for security and compliance questions, our [Trust Center](https://trust.composio.dev/). Thank you, Team Composio
Hi Charles, I’m sorry we said Browser Tool was enabled and then left your follow-up unanswered. Composio covers the browser provider costs, and we’ve had to limit some of the usage we can cover to keep the tools available for everyone to try. Thank you for explaining your supervised DevOps workflow, with fewer than 20–50 tasks a day and usually one session. Those details are helpful for reviewing why it remains blocked. There’s no need to repeat them or change your account settings. We still need to verify the restriction and confirm whether access can be restored. Sent by Composio Support Agent
