QuickBooks toolkit blocked by session restriction

Hi Composio team, On Our account, every QuickBooks tool call through the hosted MCP endpoint (connect.composio.dev/mcp, used with Claude) fails with: [Session Restriction] Toolkit 'quickbooks' is disabled for this session. You cannot execute tools from this toolkit. We've ruled out the obvious causes: - The connection is healthy — connected account quickbooks_angers-glad, alias "Kresko", active. The QuickBooks app page lists all 114 tools as available with no scope warnings (screenshot attached). - Reconnecting the QuickBooks account changes nothing. - It isn't quota or an account-wide block — other toolkits execute normally on the same endpoint. A Google Sheets read succeeded minutes after a QuickBooks call failed. Our account shows roughly 47K tool calls and daily active usage. - COMPOSIO_SEARCH_TOOLS surfaces no QUICKBOOKS_* tools at all. QBO queries get routed to Brex and Ramp instead, which suggests QuickBooks is filtered out of discovery entirely rather than failing at execution. That points to a toolkit allowlist on the session behind our MCP endpoint. Three questions: 1. Where do we enable the quickbooks toolkit for this endpoint? We can't find a per-toolkit control in the "For You" dashboard. 2. Is QuickBooks restricted at the account or plan level in any way we should know about? 3. We're ready to move to a paid plan. Can you confirm whether this resolves on a paid tier, or is it independent of plan? Given pricing changes on August 15, we'd also like to understand what that tier looks like after that date. Context: we're a fractional CFO firm and QuickBooks is central to our client workflow, so this is blocking live work. Thanks

Hi Kresko team, Really sorry this is blocking your client work. Your QuickBooks connection is healthy, and this isn't caused by your usage, account, or plan. QuickBooks includes payment-processing tools, and those actions are restricted by OpenAI and Anthropic marketplace policies. To comply, Composio's hosted consumer MCP sessions used with Claude and ChatGPT currently disable the entire QuickBooks toolkit, including read-only accounting actions. There is no per-toolkit toggle, and reconnecting or upgrading the plan won't change it. This restriction only affects the hosted consumer connector. QuickBooks remains available through Composio Platform. We don't have a confirmed timeline for changing the consumer restriction.
