Hey team! I'm trying to connect my Shopify store to Claude (claude.ai) using Composio as the MCP connector. I already have Composio connected to Claude as a native connector. What I've done so far: Created a custom app in Shopify's new Dev Dashboard (post-Jan 2026) Got my Client ID and Client Secret Created an Auth Config in Composio using OAuth2 with my credentials Added the redirect URI https://backend.composio.dev/api/v3/toolkits/auth/callback to my Shopify app When I try to "Connect Account" via Composio, it asks for an Admin API Access Token instead of completing OAuth2 The problem: Shopify eliminated static shpat_ tokens in January 2026. New Dev Dashboard apps only support OAuth2 / client credentials flow — there's no static token to copy-paste anymore. My question: What's the correct flow to connect Shopify to Claude via Composio today, given the new Shopify auth requirements? Is there a workaround or updated guide for post-Jan 2026 Shopify apps?
