Hubspot/Attio tools have invalid JSON Schema for G...

Issue: One of the Hubspot tools has an
associations
parameter declared as
"type": "array"
but missing the required
items
field. Gemini/Vertex AI requires valid JSON Schema where arrays must specify their item type. Expected:
{"type": "array", "items": {"type": "object"}}
(or appropriate item schema) Actual:
{"type": "array"}
(missing
items
) Workaround: Using OpenAI models instead (they're more lenient with schemas) MCP URL:

Update. I thought this would be workaroundable with OpenAI models as were more lenient but that's not the case. This doesnt seem to work with any model provider I can find
Isolated it "I think" to the create note tool that seems available in the UI but not on the docs any more? Is that deprecated, will there be a new one? Not sure how to proceed here
For now I've patched this myself by adding items to the array field of create notes. However suggest this as a bug fix.
Copy code
{
  "error": "litellm.BadRequestError: OpenAIException - Invalid schema for function 'ATTIO_POST_V2_LISTS_LIST_ENTRIES_QUERY': In context=('properties', 'filter', 'anyOf', '0', 'additionalProperties', 'anyOf', '5'), array schema missing items."
}
Seems to be the same problem with this tool.

Hey @aeve, could you share a reproducible code snippet along with SDK versions? It'll help us in debugging.
