Figma Tool Kit is not working
# 🖥│support-forum

Hey, I was trying to connect to figma via rube MCP via open code. But the open code is not recognising the figma toolkit. So I switched to antigravity & vs code , but it didn't work. The main thing that concerns me , is the agents are not even able to use
list_resources
to find details on rube mcp.

Hey @devloper_hs, Currently, we don’t support open-source code and antigravity, but we do support VSCode. Could you share your reproducible steps to connect VSCode? This will help us debug.
I am using rube with open code, for few tools it works great! - supabase, notion, gmail

I followed this only to get the error.

Based on the image you’ve shared, it seems you’re using the ChatGpt GO tier. Ideally, you should be able to access it with Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu plans.
@devloper_hs, quick update: We reviewed and It should work on your GO tier as well. The above error seems to be due to the icon size exceeding 2mb. Could you try using a smaller image and lmk if you face any issues?

This works. But still the figma was not reachable , I wanted it to use it for extraction of design elements and create a style.md for my development purpose.

I see, I can suggest some tools:
FIGMA_EXTRACT_DESIGN_TOKENS
,
FIGMA_DESIGN_TOKENS_TO_TAILWIND
or
FIGMA_GET_COMPONENT
. You can add a feature request here if the tool you are looking for is unavailable: https://request.composio.dev/boards/tool-requests

Question @Uday are these Figma tools above available through the Composio Managed Auth or only API?
u
Hey @aeve, you should be able to use all available tools regardless of the authentication mode, whether it’s Composio-managed, a custom OAuth app, or token-based (API key, basic, etc.). Docs to ref: https://docs.composio.dev/docs/fetching-tools Let me know if you need any help.
