Does anyone here write a weekly newsletter? Is Friday a bad day to send it?

We send ours on friday

Out of interest why did you choose Friday? Just random or after trialling other days for open rates etc

I send mine on Tuesdays - I read something a while back that Tues-Thursdays are usually the best days. I chose Tuesday because it’s still the “top of the week” and not Monday where everyone is catching up on emails

yeah ive heard the same. i think youre probably right as that is certainly best practise in sales outbounding too. Im gonna send the airtable event summary tomorrow as a test and see the response, then ill test tuesday/wed thereafter

Ha, it was just easier to organise for end of the week - this also meant next week's events were on top of people's mind as the case maybe

makes total sense. ive decided im gonna send yday's event summary on tuesday and see how it goes

We send our newsletter, I ❤️ Humans, which is within the community ecosystem on Thursday.
