Hey all! Looking for guidance on event insurance - we have local hosts running events with our brand round the world, and are keen to cover our bases with insurance. Any tips for approaching this / recommended providers?

type in your requirements, date, location and specifics and they populate a COI

You can get the requirements from the venue for how much coverage is required. If its at a restaurant they will typically have the general liability insurance and its not necessary. but for using someone else's space other than private dining, then you would want a Certificate of Insurance (COI).

thanks for sharing @Allie Kerr!!

Thanks Allie! So you pay insurance for each individual event that runs?
At the moment we’re keen to find e.g. 1 policy that covers e.g. 10 events per month, in many different countries at once
But I hadn’t considered the per event route
a
how big are the events and what types of venues?
ive never gotten coverage for multiple events in one policy but the people at event helper are pretty knowledgeable and you might be able to shoot them what you are looking for and get a good recommendation

Typically 40-50 people, usually networking drinks in public spaces OR in offices, ~10 a month in Europe / North America
Thanks Allie - I’ll reach out to them now, really appreciated!

@Leone Baron I think (don't quote me on this) if you use platforms like www.peerspace.com for events, insurance is included, so you can skip some of the hassle
