Adding Variables to workers fails with error code ...

Hi there, I'm trying to add an R2 binding to my (free) Worker, but I get the error message:
Workers Unbound has not yet been enabled for this account. (Code: 10075)
I don't have any other variables yet, so I assume this would be allowed. I can't seem to find much information on this. Does anybody know how to resolve it other than by credit card? 🙂

Hi @Slotherman! Can you share your account ID with me? Should be in the dashboard URLs or copyable on the right hand side of the Workers/Pages dashboard
s
Can I PM this to you, or should I post it here?
e
Here is fine since they're not sensitive, but you can DM if you prefer 🙂
s
Ah then it's okay, it's a10122d7192323dbdd5c4a24d4199b5b

Thanks!
s
Thanks for looking into it Erisa!
e
No worries - do you remember if at any point you were subscribed to Workers Paid in the past?
s
I think I tried a very early version of Workers, but I don't think I ever paid for them
Can't find any invoices or (canceled) subscriptions for Workers either
e
Okay thanks, will raise this and let you know if we need anything more or if we need to create a support ticket
s
Alright I'll be around! Thanks so far! 🙂
e
For clarity, it looks like somehow your Default Usage Model has been set to Unbound even though you don't have the right subscription to access Unbound, trying to work out how that happened (and how to revert it)
s
Grandfathered in would be my best guess! Been a free leech of CF for a long time 😉
e
Hey @Slotherman, could you try this again now? A fix was pushed
s
Hey @Erisa | Support Engineer it looks good to me! My interface now correctly shows that I’m a free user, and I could add the variable. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it!
e
Awesome! Happy to help :)
