Is there any billing research for browser rendering tests? Seems like these would get pricey with high cpu consumption

in open beta it's free (with some limits https://developers.cloudflare.com/browser-rendering/platform/limits/) but nothing beyond that about pricing has been announced

I added a bug report https://github.com/cloudflare/puppeteer/issues/13

That function was commented out and later removed. It internally called the `createPDFStream` function which still exists but doesn't seem work.

Yeah, the reason I wanted to use this API was to generate PDFs

currently paying $1000 per month for browserless (4 instances)... can't wait for browser render api to come out of beta...

Just curious what the price would be. Currently using around 80 browser instances in parallel. Around $12.5 per instance per month.

On that I’m using zenrows, going to be interesting trying to bypass cf bot detection with cf lol. Can set a header or something for a bypass rule though clients aren’t always that savvy

Though could ping the site with a cf scraper and if getting blocked, fallback to zenrows. Guess it will come down to pricing for me

I don't think so, there's tons of practical use for this. For example, I'm using it for 2d and webgl context renders :D

I've hit 2 issues so far
1. .pdf() is apparently not a function
2. as an alternative, I tried using `createPDFStream` but then I get an error saying ` Error: ProtocolError: Protocol error (Page.printToPDF): Printing is not available` 

is there another knob/switch somewhere that needs to be enabled for pdf functionality to work?

I'm currently working on a project that's planning on using selenium for checking user-provided code snippets in tasks for tutorials and this looks really intriguing as a way of potentially fully avoiding having to deploy VPSes. Could I get access to the beta to play around with it please?
