I'm pretty sure that Madeleine is experiencing duplicate "Messages" recording across iPad and iPhone similar to the "Games" and "Minecraft" collision from yesterday. She has 10m of Messages on both devices always right next to each other and largely overlapping.

I sent it as 10m instead of the 20m initially reported

Not sure how to determine if the usage was actually on the iPad or iPhone so i'm removing the iPad because iPhone seems the more likely place to be using messages but not positive

Nice, definitely agree cancelling was the right call in this case. <@U0AAU8L09RR> was working on this case yesterday.

It's overwhelmingly likely that this child has "Share Across Devices (SAD)" *on* so her thresholds of message usage get reported to us from both devices.

We don't have a sophisticated strategy for filtering out these cases yet, but Rob is working on it. The hard problem is accommodating these cases (IE throwing out the threshold events from the second device) while also handing instances where SAD is *off* (IE we should _count_ thresholds from both devices)
